This pattern comes in a variety of colourways and certainly adds an interesting pattern to any lamp.... Although my personal favourite the recycled glass lamp here is a treat with any fabric.

These 3 little words really sum up my homestyle.
.
This little area of my home is no exception:
- My old upcycled dog bed unit.
- Freshly painted walls after I stumbled across an old tin of graphite colour courage paint in the shed the other day.
- A gorgeous wood lined path painting, it's an original oil on canvas I picked up on facebooks marketplace the other day... for only £15!
- And (of course🤭) my lampshade and long grainsack bench cushion I made from some vintage linens I bought from the gorgeous @weatheredandworn a couple of years ago.
.
It might not be 'on trend' or 'magazine photoshoot quality' (or even really insta worthy!) but it feels great being surrounded by things that haven't caused too much trouble to the environment or the people that make them, and it all feels somehow so much calmer and cleaner💚
.
Shall I share some more little 'eco interior capsules' like this from my home? or does it make you roll your eyes and want to scroll right on? 😅👉👉👉

LAST DAY WITH MY HAIR

I'm planning to spend waaay too long washing and brushing my hair today 😅 before it all gets shaved off tomorrow and donated to The Little Princesses Trust 😬 where they'll turn it into a wig.
.
I have a choice and for that I am so grateful 🙏
.
Together, we have managed to raise enough money to make 2 natural wigs which can be given to children suffering from hair loss whilst going through chemotherapy treatment plus some money towards paediatric cancer research. 👍
.
It's not much but it's better than nothing.
.

Well... It's not like me to offer up a 'mug shot'

Well... It's not like me to offer up a 'mug shot' on social media, however this is for a good cause, so here I am😜

If I look nervous it's because I am shaving my long locks off and donating them to the amazing @officiallittleprincesstrust where they will magically create a natural wig for a child/ young adult currently undergoing chemotherapy.
.
I take my long locks for granted, most days I throw it up into a bundle on my crazy head whilst I beaver away in my workshop. But for a child facing this scary and uncertain voyage of therapy and physical change it may bring them some sort of normality and confidence.
.

Today actually felt good: creative, productive, exciting and... 'normal' ☺️

I had the pleasure of spending a glorious (and fun) few hours with Sally @sissinghurstlocationhouse for a long overdue photoshoot.

Finally getting some beautiful shots of @millieandrosedesigns latest creations (which can now be added to the website... YAY!! (👆link in bio))

Pebbles was THE most professional, obedient and elegant dog-model I have ever worked with 🐾🐾

Here's a good place, let's start with YOU... Are you well? are you managing OK in this (what feels like) endless lockdown? We're getting closer to some sort of freedom, I'm sure.🤞
I have really missed seeing so many of you at the various events I would usually exhibit at and cannot wait to get back out there, to reconnect and show you all our beautiful fresh new designs. ☺️

I must have made at least a hundred lampshade orders over the last couple of months (hence the radio silence on insta🤦‍♀️(oh.. plus I'm temporarily a private tutor to 2 inquisitive kids 😅 no complaints here though, I'm learning new things 🤣)).
I have been so touched by all the lovely comments, support and reviews customers have been sending me. It means the world to me🙏 thank you 🥰

We have a gorgeous, one-off chunky wooden, rustic coffee table available on our online shop. Quick someone buy it......🙏 before I sneak it into my sitting room whilst my husbands not looking 🤭

It's full of character, we've kept the top natural and given the solid legs a fresh white, slightly distressed finish.
🤔Vase of handpicked foliage popped on the top and you've got the natural countryside right there!! If only this table could talk and tell us it's story!

I met a few friends for a (rare these days😏) coffee, last week at the beautiful @weatheredandworn

I literally NEVER leave there empty handed, this time was no exception, as I found myself heading home, proudly clutching a bag of goodies including a French vintage grainsack. I have put 2 cushions in it and it's made the perfect bench cushion in front of my barn door.... What do you think?

This is the time of year where we tidy up the garden, ready for the 'mucky months'.
Then we get 'cosy-home ready'. Decluttering the cupboards, freshening up the decor and restocking the blanket basket!

We LOVE Autumn, but we have to be 'house ready' as all our attention turns to magical countryside dog walks, open fires and foodie feasts.

Quality lighting can really make a space inviting and relaxing. Check out our recycled glass lamp in this beautiful entrance hall, I made a large coolie lampshade for this one using some beautiful vintage French linen.
