We recommend the champagne lining with this fabric but if you require more light to come through the lampshade you should opt for the standard white lining.

This beautiful handmade lampshade is made to order. We do our very best to have each one carefully made, packaged and sent to you within 2 weeks of your order. Our Anoushka drum lampshade is a classic.

20cm (height 16cm) for a small bedside table lamp

25cm (height 18cm) for a table lamp

30cm (height 20cm) for a smaller coffee table lamp or standard bedside lamp

35cm (height 20cm) perfect for a coffee table lamp or standard bedside lamp

40cm (height 24cm) ideal for a larger side table lamp, floor light or ceiling shade

LININGS

We offer a choice of fire-retardant linings; Champagne gives a warming glow, Silver a contemporary cool finish and the standard White lining which allows more light through the shade so you can see the texture and fibre of the fabric.

We would recommend the champagne or white lining for the anoushka twirl lampshade

HOW SUSTAINABLE IS LINEN?

The Pros of Linen

Linen is one of the most biodegradable and stylish fabrics in fashion history. It is strong, naturally moth resistant, and made from flax plant fibres, so when untreated (i.e. not dyed) it is fully biodegradable. It’s natural colours include ivory, ecru, tan and grey.

Linen can withstand high temperatures. It absorbs moisture without holding bacteria. In fact, it is actually stronger when wet than dry and becomes softer and more pliable the more it is washed. It just gets better and better!
